Torn between Lionheart and A Legend after All, both are absolute bangers with amazing melodies. Really love this album, and got to see them LIVE on 10.03.23 Favorite track: A Legend After All.

Open your eyes As a new sun rises On wonderful lands As your perspective changes Open your minds And realize Your mounts and vales Are moulded by tales Open the door Your surroundings are endless Seas and shores The world is yours Open your eyes Open your minds A mountain peaks’ myth Open the door

Fallen Mount 03:39
Up on a mountain’s peak There once was a Castle Built high and strong On a mount by a lake Driven by greed and pride Wishing for bigger and greater Stone after stone Build taller but fall harder The earth shakes and rumbles Collapses under this giant The mountain breaks in two And gives up the ghost The mountain dives into the lake Taking the castle into its fall Colossal waves, swallowing rocks Swallowing stones Fallen Mount sunk in the blue All greed, all pride, submerged by the waves From the depths, be born again A new hope, a new rock on this lake ! Aouh ! The fallen mount is born again From the depths a new home awakes Huge waves ran aground As a result of vanity Followed by a deafening silence As the rumble still echoes In a swirling lake This fallen rock emerges “Wake up from your slumber” A bed of clay and stones Under the surface assembles A humble promontory For the fallen castle to be rebuild Fallen Mount sunk in the blue All greed, all pride, submerged by the waves From the depths, be born again A new hope, a new rock on this lake ! Aouh ! The fallen mount is born again From the depths a new home awakes

Lionheart 04:12
Mist falls on the morning dew And hides the first rays of light An army of brave men climb onto the hill Up there a tragic fate awaits Fearsome warriors out for blood With thousands of sharp, cold spears The ground shakes step after step As the first charge resounds The brave men crash into the wall Blood flows on the battlefield And the wall stands strong and tall When out of nowhere a lion appears Oh, this lion died for us that day, a sacrifice that led to years of peace This lion died, To years of peace The lion jumps at the spears Creating a breach in the wall A sacrifice for this land A hero died for us Oh, this lion died for us that day, a sacrifice that led to years of peace This lion died, to years of peace He died, he died He died, he died For hundreds of peaceful years, For us to build our homes As free men we live ‘cause he died, he died Once the dust had settled down Not a single lion in sight A tragic scene of a human shield He died, for us Now as one we raise our voice For this story to last through the years Lest we forget, my friends in arms He died, for us

I had once a home like this Bontifull my former lot As my native country’s rills Were here everlasting hills But those streams no longer pour And my father's cot's no more By an hundred winters piled, When the Glaciers, dark with death Hang o'er precipicies wild Hang suspended by a breath If a pulse but throb alarm Headlong down the steeps they fall For a pulse will break the charms Bounding, bursting, burying all
5.
In the sunset of my day Stranger ! I have lost my home. Over thy mountains, sunk in blood, Are the waves of ruin hurled Like the waters of the flood Rolling round a buried world On the day that made us slaves, freedom's ark, by tempest tossed, foundered in the swallowing waves Therefore, therefore do I roam. Weary, wandering, old and grey Therefore, therefore do I roam. Where the Alpine summits rise, Height over height stupendous hurled Like the pillars of the skies, Like the ramparts of the world As I climbed the mountain's side, where the lake and valley meet, all my country's power and pride lay in ruins at my feet Where the forest fronts the morn whence the boundless eye might sail over a sea of mountains borne Therefore, therefore do I roam. Weary, wandering, old and grey Therefore, therefore do I roam. Where the Alpine summits rise, Height over height stupendous hurled Like the pillars of the skies, Like the ramparts of the world Yet I feel, wherever I roam that my heart is still the same, This land is now my home forever my home

Lost in the deep cold snow A misstep would end it all Anything could fall over and just take me away Small creatures, slippy feet Searching, in wait, For lost souls to rescue New day, new hope, for a new start Never again My path is steep and rough Blistering cold mountains wind The ground falls out and I am caught in a wave of snow Smothered crushed and afraid In a torrent of ice Swallowed by the snow Take me home Hiding in caves, all summer long waiting for the cold white coat Fearless freeriders surfing the roar New day, new hope, for a new start Back from the dead Small creatures slippy feet Searching, in wait, For lost souls to rescue Found me, hopeless, Buried in a white grave New day, new hope, for a new start Never forget I heard something, scratching the ice to get me Out off this cell, just before I choke Bearded figure, unsung heroes took me out Happy ending, though it was lost from the start Hiding in caves, all summer long waiting for the cold white coat Fearless freeriders surfing the roar In a torrent of ice In a torrent of ice

Above the mist where trees fail to grow A frozen lake, in the morning snow Lost between the devil’s peaks Thousands of rocks are sunk in the ground Back when ghosts still roamed this land Two beings born from the stone Summoned to shape mountains So that men could habit them One of them was driven by anger Whilst the other played by the rules After years of endless war Our lands changed forever When Titans fell they destroyed this land This colossal collapse shaped this place We are so small, forced to watch Nothing we can do will change a thing But as for every disaster There’s always hope, This deadly landslide turned into a lake And through this lake nature awakes A noise so loud Rung in miles An earthquake so strong No one could stand If you’re not dead yet You’ll be deaf for sure The titans are unstoppable Earth shakes and mountains fall as the golems fight for their lives Earth shake and mountains fall as the war rages loud as a storm. Clouds of dust cover the sky No sun, no light, just mud and dust Clouds of dust cover the sky No sun, no light, just mud and dust A noise so loud Rung in miles An earthquake so strong No one can stand If you’re not dead yet You’ll be deaf for sure The titans are unstoppable As one of the titans fall, the cliff falls with him There is nothing left but an ocean of trees and stones Men, trees, mounts, and vales are just a sea of stone Men, trees, mounts, and vales are just a sea of stone a sea of stone a sea of stone Above the mist where trees fail to grow A frozen lake, in the morning snow Lost between the devil’s peaks Thousands of rocks sunk in the ground When Titans fell they destroyed this land This colossal collapse shaped this place We are so small, forced to watch Nothing we can do will change a thing But as for every disaster There’s always hope, This deadly landslide turned into a lake And through this lake nature awakes This deadly landslide turned into a lake And through this lake nature awakes Nature awakes When titans fell When titans fell Nature awakes When titans When titans fell Nature awakes

Cursed, unholy beast of hell Born, from blasphemia Rove, the black Alps above Roar, desolation arise Pastures turned to ashes As the lamb became the beast Plunged into darkness Eternal thunderstorm Size of a bear Sharp fangs like a wolf Forked tail and dragon's claws No man ever came, came back alive The profecy spoke Of a strong white bull Sent to the mountain By a full moon night, in its eighth year A bull is raised, Pure and innocent being Strong and brave, The biggest of all All our hopes, And prayers to you Fight for us, Fight for all The time has come for you to fulfill your fate Up there a bloody night awaits Defeat the demon, overcome the curse Doomed from birth but a legend after all Blessed, the bull faces the beast Night comes and darkness sets Hear, the battle rages on Fear, and hope the morning comes The sky shines red, as the beast is dead and gone A bull is raised, Pure and innocent being Strong and brave, The biggest of all All our hopes, And prayers to you Fight for us, Fight for all The time has come for you to fulfill your fate Up there a bloody night awaits Defeat the demon, overcome the curse Doomed from birth but a legend after all But a legend after all The time has come for you to fulfill your fate Up there a bloody night awaits Defeat the demon, overcome the curse Doomed from birth but a legend after all

Where the river dug the deepest gorge Where water met the mountain's heart Year after year, cutting through stone, A wild stream hides a monster Shaped like a snake It merges with the river’s curves Winged as a dragon A flutter of wings can uproot pines Swim, crawl and fly Elusive beast, stone like scales Mesmerizing Oneiric dragon, piercing eye Many ventured there, but most lost their minds Confused, deluded, panic in their eyes Hidden into the grooves a wyvern rules the place Venemous fangs and hypnotic stare No one knows what lives up there, was it a nightmare or was it real In order to defeat this unholy beast The top of the stream you must reach There you'll find a lightless cave Where the dragon sleeps and hides away Tortuous path Through the forest you must march Tough and deadly The beast is yet to be seen Brave or foolish You'll need to be both to succeed Mad and sore You may be both if you fail If it lays it eye on you Who knows if you would make it through Hidden into the grooves a wyvern rules the place Venemous fangs and hypnotic stare No one knows what lives up there, was it a nightmare or was it real I faced the wyvern in An epic battle of swords and claws A hundreds scares to remind me This bloody fight could've ended much worse Blinded by the darkness Lost and injured All I can remember Is a last hypnotic stare I woke up by the stream Where my journey had started Have I been sleeping all this time Or was it real ? Hidden into the grooves a wyvern rules the place Venemous fangs and hypnotic stare No one knows what lives up there, was it a nightmare or was it real
